Current owners Tim White and Kent Swinson founded Timberline in 1999. It started as a passion to provide the highest quality custom woodworking solutions to the people in the Manhattan, KS area. In 2000, Timberline expanded into commercial cabinetry and millwork. As demand has grown, highly skilled craftsmen, state of the art equipment, manufacturing processes, and internal computer software development have allowed Timberline to continually exceed customer expectations.
Today Timberline employs 20 people and services four midwestern states. Employee teams work in specialized areas and inspect for quality at each stage of the process. In 2017, Timberline installed the first Anderson fully automated loading, labeling, and cutting CNC system in the United States. There is an ongoing drive to build excellence into the product while reducing costs to the consumer. Timberline utilizes customized software to tie together engineering and manufacturing and track project status from raw material to shipping.
